Hi! I'm Kim Silvey, owner of Silvey's Soap, a small business based on our farm in California, Missouri. I am a retired art teacher and taught for 26 years in the public school system. I love creating and trying new things and like a lot of soap makers, I started this as a hobby and made soap for family and friends.  My very first batch was a total flop and it has taken a long time to perfect my soap just the way I want it. I make all of my products in small batches, by hand using the cold process method, with the purpose of bringing less chemicals and synthetic products into your life as well as our own family’s lives.  Please enjoy my soap. It's my passion and I like to refer to it as simple luxury.  I hope that you love it!
