Now that I've said hello to the world, it’s time to introduce myself. My name is Kim, and I am the owner, maker, and all things Silvey's Soap you might say. I live in California, Missouri on a small farm with my family. Like a lot of soap makers, I too stated making soap for family and friends and never in a million years thought I would end up with a business that I love! I have to admit that the first couple of soap batches were TOTAL fails and that led me to work hard experimenting in order to create my own special recipe. My goal is to make simple products that moisturize the skin and that are chemical free.

This blog will keep you up to date with all the cool soaps that I am making, a video here and there, or the process that I go through with each soap I make and more.
